Our friends over at Mobile Fun have released the first images of the Official Samsung accessories for the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Samsung Galaxy S3 flip covers
There are six main products Mobile Fun have released images for: two Official Flip Cover styles (one Chrome Blue the other Ceramic White); the Holder and Battery charger; the Desktop Dock; C-Pen and Wi-Fi Display Hub.
Taking a closer look at the Official Flip Covers, they’re the perfect Samsung Galaxy S3 case solution for fans of sleek and stylish protection. Each case replaces the back of the Galaxy S3 and has a flip cover so that the back and screen of the Galaxy S3 are protected without adding any bulk to the handset. The cases also leave all the ports and features accessible so that the handset remains fully functioning at all times.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Desktop Dock
The C-Pen is another interesting looking accessory of the Samsung Galaxy S3. It’s thought to be the upgrade to the original S-Pen. The C-Pen helps to improve your accuracy whilst using the handset, making typing and using apps a lot quicker and easier. Even better it can stop fingerprints from marking the display, which is an annoyance to us all.
Finally, Mobile Fun have also released images of the Official Desktop Dock, a Samsung Galaxy S3 charger at heart that docks the S3 at the best angle for typing, swiping and streaming media. It looks really stylish and has a cool flip up section for where the S3 is docked and still allows you to access all the other features like the volume buttons.
There’s more images over on the Mobile Fun blog and on the product pages should you wish to take a closer look.
Can you imagine a future where your smartphone comes with unlimited data, but without a calling plan? Living in this brave new world doesn’t mean you have to abandon voice communication. The new Vonage Mobile calling app for iPhone and Android brings this new reality closer with free worldwide talk and text to all other users of the app. Whether your phone is connected over 4G, 3G, or Wi-Fi, your entire address book is only a tap away. Just remember that calls still use a portion of your data plan.
Vonage Mobile certainly isn’t the first smartphone app to provide free calling and text messaging from mobile phones, so what make this different? Unlike Skype for iPhone and Android, which maintains a separate address book, Vonage Mobile integrates your existing address book - which means free app-to-app calls and text messages are available without needing to reconnect with people who already provided contact information. And the Vonage Mobile multi-invite function lets you invite anyone (or everyone) from your contact list with one simple text. Skype requires you to search for users and invite each person one at a time.
Vonage Mobile
Vonage Mobile doesn’t limit calls to people with the app, or even to people who have a smartphone. You can call direct from Vonage Mobile to virtually any phone number on the planet. You can dial internationally without needing to activate special services with your mobile carrier. And most importantly, you can do this with the address book on your phone and your existing mobile number.
There is a cost associated with calling phones directly, but according to Vonage, the app offers international calling with per-minute rates that average 70 percent less than major mobile carriers and 30 percent less than Skype. This savings estimate is based on per-minute rates to the top 50 countries called. Billing is also more convenient, with payment integrated directly into your iTunes or Android Market account, instead of maintaining billing in a separate login.
Vonage combines exceptional call quality with an integrated phone experience to offer a more complete calling solution. Unlike other free voice apps, which often echo badly or sound like you’re talking on tin can, when calling app-to-app Vonage delivers what they call ‘high-def’ voice quality, which is much better than a standard cell phone call.
Vonage Mobile
If better call quality to any of your existing contacts isn’t enough to make you try out Vonage Mobile, there’s just one more thing you should know. Vonage is currently offering free calls from virtually anywhere in the world to the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico. There are a few circumstances where free calling may not work, like business calls, premium and special service numbers, and satellite phones, but for the most part, free really means free. You also need to stay under 3000 minutes per month, but who talks that much anyway?
Download Vonage Mobile now and check it out on your iPhone or Android phone. Invite your family and friends so you have someone to text or call, then let us know what you think.

Samsung Galaxy S II may be among the first smartphones that will receive the new update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but if you are from users of the phone, you have a chance to see how the software will change it, thanks to this video, showing an early beta version of Android 4.0.
Now is the time to stop hoping that you will see Ice Cream Sandwich in the form in which it is designed by Google, since the video is clear that the type of the platform will also be changed with TouchWiz interface. Not that we have anything against TouchWiz, but against the Ice Cream Sandwich any attempt to change the interface of the manufacturers seem out of place.
If you’re still in the mood to experiment, you can install the beta version in your phone.
The next version of Android – Ice Cream Sandwich, should appear officially at the end of the year, but it is possible first models with Android 2.4 be marketed in the early October. This statement comes from Boy Genius Review which says that their source of information is familiar with plans of Google. It seems Google is trying to expedite the completion of the platform in order to better compete with iPhone 5 which is expected to hit the market in September or October. Also during this time of year will debut the first smartphones with Windows Phone Mango.
Samsung Galaxy Xcover will be the first smartphone of the company which is going to be waterproof and shockproof. The model will compete with Motorola Defy and his successor Defy+ which body is certified by standard IP67 and can stand in water for half an hour at a depth of 1 meter. The phone also has 3.6” screen with tempered glass, 3.2MP camera with LED flash, Wi-fi, GPS and works with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The smartphone will be available in October and will first be available to German consumers.
Just a month after Samsung announced that they have sold 3 million units of the smartphone Samsung Galaxy S2, the Korean company is ready to boast a new achievement – supplies already exceeds 5 million units. Its about the phones which are sold by mobile operators but the figure is impressive, as was achieved for 85 days. Soon the phone will chase 10 million supplies and Samsung, meanwhile, doesn’t want to announce details of sales in different regions.
Samsung have sold 3 million phones of the model Samsung Galaxy S2, for only 55 days. To compare, they’ve reach this number for 85 days with the previous Galaxy S, so this is a new record for the company. Most of the phones had been bought by European customers, but this not preclude Samsung Galaxy S2 to become famous all over the world. Also, its fame is not in vain because Galaxy S2 has a stylish design and very powerful hardware. It has a dual core processor, GPU Mail-400MP, 8MP camera and a beautiful Super AMOLED display. All these things make the work with the phone easy, fast and pleasantly.

These cases don’t have a high price tag and are great for those who like to splash a bit of colour onto their handset. Another great thing about them is that the mesh provides heat ventilation for the handset to keep it running smoothly and to stop it getting hot. However, the case which we’ve been getting excited about is the Case-Mate POP Case for Samsung Galaxy S2 – it’s available in three different colours: black/grey, pink/grey and my favourite white/black. They’re available for pre-order now but what’s fantastic about these cases is that they have kickstands which are perfect for watching movies and they also have a raised bezel which means that the screen is also given protection from the case.
The successor of the first Samsung Galaxy Tab will have 7” display with IPS technology. Except the 7 inches screen, the new tablet also has dual core processor Exynos that is working on 1.2 Ghz , 1GB Ram memory and 16GB for your files and MicroSD card slot. It is named Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 and uses Android 2.3 Gingerbread and TouchWiz 4.0 user interface.
